After waiting for two years on the video for his 2017 hit single ‘Here If You Want (Pale Blue)’, MOSSS (Rob McCurdy) is keeping the goodness flowing with brand new track ‘Bound To Happen’. Shaped by a delightfully relaxed interplay between patterned percussion and lively bassline, the track sits somewhere between hazy indie and future funk. Complementing the floaty production is McCurdy’s luscious pop vocal which puts the artist’s heart right on his sleeve with lyrics like “I love you crazy, black and white baby, I love you crazy, cool.” As MOSSS has said before, this whole project is an “outlet where I can make whatever I want to make without outside input or an agenda,” so with that we look forward to more of his individualised chill-pop gems. - Hannah Thacker
